We have moved to new premises!

What we can do to help ?

We can all search the web gathering information comparing CCTV products and specifications. Oh that’s a 540 line CCTV camera; oh that’s H264 DVR etc. Specification can be like statistics Lies! And Dam Lies!

The highest specification CCTV camera fitted with the incorrect lens and placed in the wrong position will give you rubbish results and be a total waste of money. A cheap CCTV camera fitted with the correct lens and correctly positioned will give you much better playback video and save you money.

The same applies to choice of  DVR, what are you trying to achieve? And what are the recordings to be used for? It’s no good having the Hi spec all dancing and singing CCTV DVR if the police can’t extract and use the video evidence.

I have just bought the most expensive CCTV camera and DVR surveillance system going will the highest spec I could find, but I used the wrong cable, didn’t consider how to route my cables and didn’t crimp the BNCs on correctly. Now I have rubbish pictures, lines and interference and have wasted my money.
