The heart of the Vguard HD range is the Vguard HD DVR which comes in various versions starting with an 8 camera model and going up to 64 camera versions. The Vguard HD DVR displays and records images of a much higher quality and resolution than standard CCTV equipment, but the benefits don`t end there. It quick and easy to use, can handle up to 6 monitors all displaying different sets of cameras, has adjustments for each individual cameras settings for brightness, contrast, colour etc to ensure you get the perfect image. It is fully networkable and comes with a central management software programme so you can set up and control your DVR remotely. The Vguard monitors are also different to standard ones, they are Optic10 toughened glass that is coated to improve colours, image sharpness and contrast  as well as durability. The Vguard HD cameras are the latest Sony Effio chip set which is the highest resolution CCD that Sony make. Each camera as its own on screen display menus allowing each camera to be tuned for the particluar enviroment it is located or use it is being put to. These include DNR (digital noise reduction, this helps reduce the file size) WDR (wide dynamic range, this helps with contrast issues when there are very bright areas and very dark areas in the same image) BLC ( back light compensation, this helps when there is an object or person in the image were the amount of light behind them is very bright) AGC ( Auto gain control) and also adjustments for shutter speed, brightness, contrast, colour, white balance and day/night performance.
