Facial recognition software allows you to add people to a database for management and/or security purposes. Known criminals can be uploaded to your database via phone, PC, direct upload from recorder or recorded footage (jpeg) and send alerts/trigger alarms in their presence. The NVR has an external PoE switch, PoE is Power over Ethernet. This is when power and video signal is sent down the same cable from a switch or a NVR to a camera. The maximum you can send a PoE signal is 90m without having to put any boosters in the cable. Having an external PoE switch as opposed to it being built in has advantages, you no longer need to run a cable from the camera back to the recorder, you can fit the PoE switch where it is the most convenient and connect camera cables to that instead. This method normally uses a lot less cable but does require a separate power source for the PoE switch.
The 7-22mm 70m IR Bullet camera supports a 4MP chipset. This camera will record at 4MP (2560 x 1440) resolution! Which is almost three times the resolution of high definition 1080p cameras (1920 x 1080 pixels). This unit allows recording at H.265 compression which uses 40% less bandwidth than H.264 but does not sacrifice image quality. (Click this link for more info on H.265)

Easy to install using Cat 5, Cat 6. The 4MP Bullet is PoE (Power over Ethernet) allowing you to only need to send one network cable to the camera for power and video transmission. The camera has a cable coming from the rear which has a RJ45 socket and a spare 12v DC socket for if you are not using the PoE feature.
