Tripwire

Tripwire / Perimeter

This feature serves two purposes, the first one we will cover is the tripwire feature. The tripwire can be set by drawing a tripwire line A->B, A<-B, A<->B.

  • A->B: This will allow you to pass from A to B over the line and set off the alert, but if going over the line from B to A, the alert will not be set off.
  • A<-B: This will allow you to pass from A to B over the line and not set off the alert, but if going over the line from B to A, the alert will be set off.
  • A<->B This will allow you to pass from either direction and the alarm will be set off.

Places best suited for this is entrances to factories, driveways, reception areas and weight bridges etc. This feature will trigger an alert to the phone and can also be set to record when triggered. Click here to view a video on the smart analytical feature Tripwire.

The second way this feature can be used is as a perimeter detection. To apply this, you connect the tripwires on the image together with a maximum of 1 tripwires and set the feature to A<->B on each tripwire. By following this procedure, this will give you complete perimeter protection, meaning no need for beams wired to an alarm. This feature will trigger an alert to the phone and can also be set to record when triggered. Click here to view a video on the smart analytical feature Perimeter (Tripwire).
